Artion, a multidisciplinary art and culture platform, was formally felicitated by AkshayaShakti Welfare Association (ASWA) on June 8 for its significant contribution to the record-setting public art initiative, PAINT4Ps: Planet, People, Progress & Peace. The recognition was extended through a certificate of honour presented to Artion’s Founder-Director, Narendra Lindait, who also participated in the event as one of the lead artists.
The event had also seen the involvement of other organisations including IWPG, which conducted on-ground dialogues about women’s role in peacebuilding; Namaste India International, which enabled international artist involvement; and Strokes Art Studio, which coordinated layout and on-site visuals. While the Asia Book of Records conferred official recognition shortly after the event in April, the felicitation ceremony organised by ASWA served to acknowledge the contributions of on-ground participants and core collaborators who played a pivotal role in its execution.
The Asia Book of Records formally acknowledged all artist-driven efforts executed under ASWA’s strategic outline, with Artion as an equal partner in the initiative. During the felicitation, certificates were jointly conferred, highlighting the shared contribution and the civic-artistic impact of the collaboration.
